When to choose this scene
Use a closed test-pad scene to make lift, one airborne roll and touchdown easy to read. This result video includes a rotation; a pure-hover brief would describe a different effect.
Choose the photo angle
Clean side view with all visible wheels separated from the background. Keep the car large enough to compare its shape during the roll.
Suggested brief: one fixed wide side camera, portrait headroom and an unchanged ground plane. Preserve the light poles as stationary scale references.
The shot sequence
- Start with the complete car on a floodlit test pad.
- Lift vertically on downward vapor jets, complete one controlled roll and return to a level attitude.
- Lower the same car back to the original pad with the wheels readable through the vapor.
Common errors and targeted fixes
| Problem | Change to try |
|---|---|
| The car slides without leaving the pad | Specify a visible gap between the tires and their ground shadow before the roll begins. |
| The roll repeats or changes direction | Request exactly one roll with a defined return to level. Do not combine it with a camera orbit. |
| Smoke hides the landing | Keep vapor below the chassis and ask for a clear final frame with the wheels on the original surface. |
